I've loved Moonglow since I was a young girl living with my grandparents. "Gaggy," my grandmother, was a great fan of Erroll Garner, so that's the first version I heard. It's quite bouncy! I like Ethel Water's gentle, rich, warm, rendition. Thanks, Debra, for the memories!

So many choices of great recordings of this song! I was looking for an pure instrumental and then a more bluesy vocal. It's a tribute to the musical foundation of the song that it admits to so many really fine adaptations. Glad you enjoyed it, Jane!

Love the title. The moon glows here across the bay and reflects ice crystals on winter's rose bushes.

Unparalled beauty--- beckoning to sky gazers , poets, and romantics.

My dad used to sing this on his ukulele at every party we ever had back when I was young. Beach picnics, etc.
