Read this to my husband who has dementia. I enjoyed it.

He was able to read a book title today and I’m thinking today about soon looking for some titles for low level readers to see whether he might be able to read to me. He used to read lots and has a great voice and dramatic flair. He always appreciated our common culture.

It was a type of dutiful guerrilla warfare that the British Empire had never encountered at Concord Bridge and throughout the ensuing war that contributed to the loss of thier 13 colonies. And it was a type of guileful guerrilla baseball that dashed hope for the Dodgers playing in 1951 World Series. A Washington Post article from Feb. 13, 2020 reported that the Giants had used a telescope mounted in their center field clubhouse to relay to the Giants' dugout with a coded buzzer what Branca's catcher was signaling. Thompson hit his walk-off homer after the dugout signaled to him that Branca's second pitch would be a fastball. To Thompson's credit, however, he at least had the skill to hit fastballs.
