This reminds me of the Good Friday Reproaches that we read yesterday: “My people, what have I done to you? How have I offended you? Answer me…I gave you the water of salvation from the rock: and you have given me gall and vinegar to drink….”

This bears reading over and over and brings tears to my eyes…to think that the King of kings, the Creator, God, our Saviour and Redeemer could be treated this way….I have no words.
