I’m looking forward to watching this movie with Robert Donat, which I’ve never heard of before. But we have two favorite Robert Donat movies : “Tartu,” and “The 39 Steps,” both of which we recorded many years ago with our VCR! We’ve watched each of them countless times!

Again, you have done it! This is a movie, and a story, of which I’ve never heard….AND NOW I WANT TO SEE IT!

In all your varying levels of subscription options for this Substack, how about a Popcorn Level, where that subscriber could join the Esolens for movie night……..😉 I appreciate your appreciation of the Good, the True, the Beautiful.

We are so glad! Tony got a good chuckle out of the Popcorn Subscription Level! He said maybe we can do one of those sometime. We'll have to see if we can get up to speed tech-wise to pull that off!

No tech required! We just show up in your living room…..And eat your popcorn. And meet your pup. And be general nuisances…..🥳

Kidding, of course. The older I get, the more allergic to travel I become. Like an old hobbit, why should I go anywhere, when my chair is here, and my porch, and my books, and my tea, and my coffee, and the cat which isn’t mine, but which sits on my lap regardless.

We shall continue to appreciate you, remotely!

Well, I confess myself to be something of a hobbit, as well. But your suggestion is a cheery one! And I'll raise a bag of popcorn to you when next we watch an old movie!
