It is a mystery, that man looks to the sky, with love, with wonder. You may be surprised to find out where our word comes from.
"Let all the earth be moved at his presence: for he hath founded the world immoveable." 1 Chron (1 Paralipomenon) 16:30.
Another great Monday! Fatima and Anthony Esolen and truth, beauty and goodness. Another great word as well: behold.
“ no other creature on earth beholds, to gaze at a beautiful thing for the sake of it and no purpose beyond the delight.”
Thank you. God bless you ALL.
The heavens were an inspiration for many composers’ love songs. Especially those of Hoagy Carmichael who wrote “ Ole Buttermilk Sky” and “Stardust.” He also included a high-flying bird with “Skylark.”
Thanks for reminding me about three great songs!
